The Junior IT Helpdesk Technician will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to our clients, including troubleshooting issues with hardware and software, setting up new equipment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing first-line support for IT systems, including remote working solutions.
- Resolving technical issues promptly and professionally, escalating issues to senior IT colleagues when required.
- Ownership of the IT service desk, ensuring all colleagues are well-supported. This includes but is not limited to network/internet connectivity, Microsoft 365/Teams and Anti-Virus systems.
- Collaborate with senior IT colleagues to assist with wider infrastructure upgrades and project implementation.
- Installing, configuring, and maintaining software and hardware.
- Our of hours on-call rota.
Qualifications:
- Experience of supporting and administering Microsoft 365.
- Experience in supporting Windows operating systems, desktop and server.
- 1+ years’ experience in a helpdesk or technical support role.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Customer service-oriented with a strong desire to help others.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
