We are continually expanding our business and growing our team and have created a new position within the IT department.
The New Starter will report to the Solutions Architect and be responsible for:
• Develop + Prototyping scripts used to create and/or control core business systems.
• Deploying + Documenting proprietary software packages and associated processes.
• Testing Software implementations and/or configurations both internally and with customers.
The role is permanent, full time, 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday, however it may, occasionally, involve work outside these hours depending on business requirements and priorities.
The successful applicant must have:
- Advanced computer skills with experience using applications such as Windows 10 Operating System, Microsoft Office products, Visio, SoapUI, Powershell.
- Proficiency in Microsoft technology such as Remote Desktop, Microsoft Server, Office 365 and MSSQL as well as Web Services and API based software development
- Basic understanding of scripting, IT troubleshooting
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- A keen interest in problem solving
- A passion for data driven technology and/or systems
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
- B grades at multiple GCSEs (including Maths)
It would be an advantage to have a basic understanding of:
- Scripting
- IT troubleshooting
- Networking
- Understanding of servers
- Virtualisation concepts
- Documentation procedures
